MORTENSEN RACE REPORT FOR JULY 3, 2010

On Saturday July, 3 Mark Mortensen started eighth in the 20-lap Sportsman feature event after qualifying fourth in heat race number one. After having fuel pickup problems in both the warm-up session and the heat race event the pit crew of the #1M went to work changing the fuel filter, cleaning out the fuel line, and the carburetor jets. MORTENSEN RACE REPORT FOR MAY 15, 2010

Racing at the Track of Champions Fonda Speedway resumed on Saturday May 15 after being rained out on May 7 with Mark starting sixth in qualifying heat race number two. He made a great move to the second position by lap three where he stayed until three laps to go in the event when another car got by for the position.
